ABSTRACT
The article presents an update on horse racing in the U.S. as of January 1978. The winter racing program at the Aqueduct racetrack in New York has encountered several problems. A program at the Hialeh Park generated $1,787,612 on the ten races. A race horse named Taisez Vous has won the El Encino Stakes a the Santa Anita in California.
