ABSTRACT
The article focuses on issues related to the resale value of used hybrid vehicles in the U.S. The fuel economy gains of hybrid sport utility vehicles (SUVs) are less significant than those of their gasoline counterparts. Therefore, hybrid cars have better resale value than hybrid SUVs. Nevertheless increasing gasoline prices buoyed prices for new and used hybrid vehicles over the past few years.
