ABSTRACT
The article questions the safety of Moscow and its government in the wake of Russian exile Alexander Litvinenko's poisoning and death. Litvinenko blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin. Traces of polonium 210 were discovered on planes in Moscow and London. Some U.S. officials say Russia resembles a fascist state. Critics of the Kremlin who have turned up dead are listed. Private Russian militant groups such as the KGB and FSB may be involved.
