ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to agriculture in Great Britain. Dairy Farmers of Britain has bought Golden Vale's Bridgend bottled milk dairy in south Wales for an undisclosed amount. Dairy Crest has completed the purchase of Express Dairies from Arla Food's after the Office of Fair Trading's decision not to refer the sale to the Competition Commission. Express Dairies has 77 distribution depots, dairies in Liverpool and Nottingham, 1850 employees and distributes about 390 million liters of milk a year.
