The article focuses on the factors that led to the improvement in the performance of the stock markets in the Philippines and Indonesia. Both countries have many assets and great promise. There are challenges that are keeping some investors away. But marginal fiscal improvements and pledges for more transparency in both Indonesia and the Philippines are leading to more investment and strong stock markets.
