Deepest Discount Broker

Johnston, Megan
November 2006
Forbes Asia;11/27/2006, Vol. 2 Issue 20, p56
The article reports on the price war among discount stock brokerages in the U.S. including SogoInvest and its applications in the possible black-box broker-dealer model in Asia. Financial services firms are increasingly trying to be all things to all customers, acting as broker, banker and financial adviser. SogoInvest could probably get away with charging customers $7 or more per trade as domestic rivals like Scottrade and E-Trade do and still get customers.
