ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growth of the pharmaceutical and medicine manufacturing industry in the U.S. The industry provides 291,000 wage and salary jobs across the country. About 29 percent of all jobs in the pharmaceutical and medicine manufacturing industry are in professional and related occupations.
