Underwriting is key in battle of the lenders

The article presents an analysis on the ways of staying competitive in Great Britain. Many lenders were still manually assessing all applications and ideas such as credit scoring automated underwriting. They are more likely to have credit scoring model than those in a prime market, this reflects that the business is higher risk and requires require a more detailed assessment. The underwriting method is increasingly sophisticated to further enhance the business in the years to come.
