The article reports on the sale of Chemtura's ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) and rubber chemicals business at Geismar, Louisiana, to Lion Chemical. The agreement includes Chemtura's global Flexzone antiozonents business. Lion said it plans to merge the EPDM and rubber chemicals units into its existing copolymer business, located at Baton Rouge.
