ABSTRACT
The article relates the authors' experience in having a telephone conversation with their female friend who has a broken toe. They were informed that her telephone line can only receive calls. Their friend bought two shirts at Saks before breaking her toe. She offered her seat on the bus to an older woman after breaking her toe.
