ABSTRACT
The article reports that the factory shipments of air conditioning equipment in the U.S. during the year 2006 have been less than the shipments in the year 2005. The monthly shipments are continuing to decrease heading into the fourth quarter of the year 2006. The combined shipments of air conditioners and air source heat pumps during September 2006 amounted to 5,12,314 units. Shipments of air source heat pumps decreased after September 2006.
