ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Fabric supplier Glen Raven has created a New Frontiers department to encourage innovation. Philippe Petot, who joined the company as a vice president in 1998, will be director of the New Frontiers department. Glen Raven, a 127-year-old company, best known in the furniture industry for its Sunbrella performance fabrics. The innovative products of the company include, providing fabric for the first flag on the moon and the invention of panty hose.
