ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decline of donations to FurnPAC, the American Home Furnishings Alliance's political action committee. The contributions to the committee have declined in comparison to the previous years and the fundraising is said to be down by 50% in the last five years. The downturn is attributed to the decrease in the donations from the furniture company executives who comprise a major segment in the committee's fundraising base.
