The article focuses on the boxoffice performance of several motion pictures by the studio Warner Bros. Pictures Inc. Films released by the studio did not perform up to the expectations of their makers. The studio released its biggest grosser "Superman Returns," which generated $84.6 million during its opening weekend. The studio's next film "Poseidon," bottomed out with a domestic gross of $61 million.
