ABSTRACT
The article reports on the implementation of a domestic seat allocation by Jetstar. The new seat allocation will allow agents to pre-select seats for their clients at the same time of making the booking. Furthermore, customers will be allocated a seat at check-in. Meanwhile, the new technology has not impacted the low cost base of the airline.
