ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a study that finds effects of inhaling adjunctive insulin before meals. The study was conducted on 427 patients aging 35 to 80 years and having type 2 diabetes. The study reveals that adjunctive inhaled insulin are helpful in improving glycemic control more than adjunctive metformin in type 2 diabetes mellitus.
