ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the strategies developed by Fox Television to rescue its declining ratings in the fall of 2006 until the return of "American Idol" in 2007. The reality television show has worked wonders for the network whenever it airs and raises the ratings of everything Fox airs around it. Programs such as the World Cup series, comedies and dramas did not produce good results for the network. In addition to "Idol" and "24," the network will launch race-themed "Drive" and a dramedy.
