The article presents various studies related to radiation oncology. These studies include heat-directed cancer gene therapy, metastatic carcinoma in the cervical lymph nodes from an unknown primary site, high energy electron and photon therapy to the parotid region and successful implementation of a guideline for early thoracic radiation for patients with limited stage small cell carcinoma of the lung.
