The article looks at how New Balance has acquired Brine Inc. Privately owned Brine manufactures lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, and field hockey equipment, footwear, and clothing. According to Jim Davis, COB and CEO at New Balance, Brine's history of manufacturing high-performance team sports products will enable New Balance to broaden their offerings at a global level. Brine's management will stay in place.
