ABSTRACT
The article discusses the biostatistical lessons learned from exercise test studies. There are defined statistical standards to be followed for evaluating the performance of a diagnostic test. Most of the standards such as blinding to test interpretation, exclusion of patients with prior myocardial infarction and classification of chest pain are very logical and easy to appreciate.
