ABSTRACT
This article reports on the ruling of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regarding the free wireless fidelity access offered by Continental Airlines Inc. at Boston-Logan International Airport. According to the FCC the Massachusetts Port Authority's attempt to shut down the airline's wireless Internet service is pre-empted by federal regulations governing over-the-air reception devices.
