This article focuses on Spain's FMC Foret, the European arm of U.S.-based FMC's industrial chemical division. It saw turnover rise in 2005 by six percent to €250 million, buoyed by volume and price increases. In 2006, FMC Foret has added 15,000 tonnes/year of capacity at its hydrogen peroxide plant in Delfzijl in the Netherlands. Group sales are split roughly: 35% in hydrogen peroxides and derivatives, 40% phosphates, 25% in different inorganics.
