The author offers suggestions on how to maintain a balanced macrobiotic diet while on a holiday vacation. A macrobiotic traveler should plan the menus in advance. A grain and at least one vegetable is highly recommended to be included in a meal. Foods such as fu and dried tofu are also highly recommended as a source of protein for participants of two to three-day outing. For extended vacations, bringing of kitchen suitcase is also suggested.
