ABSTRACT
The article reports that a technical glitch could force policy makers to redraft one of the most controversial issues of food regulation in Great Britain. The final draft of the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation has reached the legal services team at the European Commission. However, the said draft did not take into account a change in the committee rules which gives the European Parliament, a say and a veto for the first time on sketching such legislation.
