Siloxanes plant gets state okay

The article provides information on a contract received by Dow Corning Co. and Wacker Chemie to build a siloxanes facility at Zhangjiagang City in China. Dow Coming will be responsible for the construction and development of the siloxanes facility, and Wacker for the fumed silica plant. A Wacker spokesman would not disclose exactly how much the joint venture would invest, but said it would be several hundred million dollars.
