The deal includes the company's U.S. automotive coatings business, plus stakes in two joint ventures with Nippon Paint. According to Koichi Kimoto, Nippon Paint's executive director, the deal will allow Nippon to create additional business opportunities, expand its business and strengthen overall competitiveness.
