ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs in the chemical industry. Degussa has announced plans to raise prices for standard grade hydrogen peroxide in east and west Europe by €75 tonne. Chinese polymer output rose by 11.4% to 2.1m tonnes in September 2006, compared with the same period a year ago. Rohm and Haas Powder Coatings is raising global prices on all powder coatings products by 9% immediately, or as contracts allow.
