Copesul growth hit by material costs

The article deals with the impact of increased raw material costs on the earnings of Copesul in the third quarter of 2006. The average price of the raw materials naphtha and condensates was 12 percent higher in the quarter than in second quarter. Hence, a lack of significant production outages resulted in an average operating rate of 101.9 percent for the quarter, enabling record sales volumes for nearly all products.
