ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's impressions on the city of Rome, Italy, during a recent visit. Despite the negative changes in the city such as pollution, he still enjoyed his visit because he has always loved the city's beauty and its food. However, he did notice the damage caused by pollution. One significant example of this is the bronze equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius. The surface of the statue is corroded with countless tiny holes and greenish discolorations.
