ABSTRACT
The article reports on the merger between Apax Partners (AP) company and Saunders Karp & Megrue (SKM) company in the U.S. In February 2005, the deal has been publicized as uniting AP's global reach with SKM's top position in the middle market of the country. However, after a year and a half, the deal is starting to show some problems with AP.
