ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of serving at the Phoenix Fire Department in Arizona. He served as an assistant fire chief of Alan Brunacini for 15 years. The experiences and knowledge he gathered from Brunacini has influenced his performance as a fire chief. He appreciates the chief's guidance which molded him to become a better fire officer.
