ABSTRACT
The article presents a list of musical performances in New York including operas, orchestras and recitals. They include "Gimpel the Fool," by David Schiff, which was based on the short story of Isaac Bashevis Singer; "Metropolitan Ensemble of New York," by Mamoru Takahara on March 10, 1980 at Lila Acheson Wallace Auditorium, Japan House and the violin presentation of Robert and Nicholas Mann on March 15, 1980.
