Europe leading way in take-up of digital terrestrial TV

The article presents information related to the adoption of digital terrestrial television (DTT) in Europe. According to a research from market watcher IMS Research, Europe is leading the world in adoption of DTT and the market for receivers and services will grow significantly over the next five years. It is predicted that the number of households worldwide with DTT will increase from 37 million in 2006 to 131 million by the end of 2011.
