ABSTRACT
The article reports on the start of the operations of the new large-diameter stainless steel tubing line by AK Steel Holding Corp. in Ohio. The company's main goal in installing the resistance-weld tube mill and associated equipment is to increase its production capacity. The new mill is expected to give the company the capability to produce the right tubing for heavy-duty trucks.
