ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of Wolverine Tube Inc. to end all talks related to possible merger. The company has decided to focus on the restructuring process with the help of Rothschild Inc. As part of the restructuring, it is planning to close its manufacturing facilities in Jackson, Tennessee and Montreal, Quebec. Moreover, it will consolidate its wholesale distribution operation in the U.S.
