ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the observation of the steel industry of the success of SeverCorr LLC steel minimill of John Correnti in the U.S. The industry is expected to see if the new company will be able to meet its goal of becoming the first electric furnace steelmaker with the capability to produced flat-rolled sheet for exposed automotive applications. Some executives are concern of the negative effect of the company to the industry if it fails.
