ABSTRACT
The article reports that the slump of global paraxylene spot prices looks set to continue until the end of 2006 although the decline may be slightly less dramatic than it has been. Sellers blame the weakening U.S. and Asian markets, the stuttering energy complex and the softening xylenes for the decline.
