ABSTRACT
The article offers updates on the industrial park being developed by Flextronics International Ltd. in Chennai, India. The first phase of the industrial park has been completed. The opening follows a previously announced Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Tamil Nadu. Flextronics says its Chennai industrial park increases the company's existing operations in India. The company already employs more than 1,000 employees in India and has had operations in the country for six years.
