The article reports on market trends for aromatic compounds as of July 13, 2006. Notional propylene prices in Europe are at €800-840 per tonne, but offers at the top end of the range were considered too high, according to buyers. In Asia, mixed xylenes trades were thin, with selling indications for solvent xylene at $1000 per tonne free on board Korea and above. European styrene spot business has been limited, with few deals heard.
