In relation to Wang's retirement, younger generations are now learning what role they will take on and whether they are in fact gaining complete control. Wang Wen-yuan, the eldest son of Wang Yung-tsai, has taken over as group chairman, while Wang Jui-hua, Wang Yung-ching's eldest daughter, has been appointed deputy.
