ABSTRACT
The article presents an update on issues related to the chemical industry. Celanese has filed a claim against British industrial gases producer BOC concerning a gas supply arrangement for an acetic acid plant in China. Praxair expressed its interest in purchasing some of the European assets that will be up for divestment.
