ABSTRACT
The article presents some notes on the recording of singer/songwriter Todd Snider's "The Devil You Know." Snider recorded the album at the unnamed home studio of his friend Eric McConnell. McConnell observes that the recording was very casual like a group of friends making music. The studio has a Sound Workshop console and a variety of microphones. McConnell rents other equipment that would be needed.
