The article reports on the restoration of Marvin Gaye's recording studio in Los Angeles, California, by guitarist/producer/former major-label executive John McClain. Marvin lost his studio, his house and almost everything in the late 1970s because of legal and financial problems. The studio is now known as Marvin's room, which is of the most well-appointed and musician-friendly studios in the United States.
