ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to the educational system in the U.S. The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test and Gifted Rating Scales by Harcourt Assessment Inc. was selected by the New York City Dept. of Education (DE) to test PreK-2 students. The web-based assessment system by the Software Technology Inc. (STI) was chosen by the Alabama DE for special education tracking system. The Indiana Education -based data management system by STI for textbooks inventory.
