ABSTRACT
The article reports on the increase of sales revenue at the Blackboard Inc. in Washington D.C. for the third-quarter of 2006. Their revenue reached to 40% to $50.4 million from $35.9 million in the third quarter of 2005. The net loss was $4.8 million or a 17% per basic and diluted share that reflected the negative impact of reductions in deferred revenue related to the acquisition of WebCT.
