Caliaitalia shifts bulk of production to China

The article reports that Caliaitalia, an Italian upholstery manufacturer, has transferred the bulk of its manufacturing to China. Mauro Bracciale, vice president of sales and marketing for the United States, explains that 80 percent of the company's product line is produced in China. He adds that the move has enabled the company to offer better values and allow it to be more competitive within the U.S. marketplace.
