The article focuses on the use of Web-based calculator by Bon Appetit Management Co. in its cafes in the U.S. to help its fish lover patrons calculate their mercury exposure and risk. The GotMercury.org calculator asks for the user's weight, the type of fish they are eating and the amount of fish they have eaten in a week. The Web site uses mercury limit required by the Environmental Protection Agency. The company used the calculator due to concerns on mercury contamination of seafood.
