This article reports on Internet-related acquisitions and strategic alliances made by San Antonio, Texas-based marketer Harte-Hanks as of September 1999. The company agreed to buy ZD Market Intelligence from Ziff-Davis for $101 million in cash. ZD Market provides database products for the high-technology and communications industries. The sale is expected to close by mid-October. The marketer's alliances with BroadVision, Communique Direct, Digital Impact, E.piphany and net.Genesis Corp. also expand its digital portfolio.
