ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of having an autistic son. She relates how she learned to allow her son to socialize with other children in their church. She discusses how she felt when her son wants to make a speech about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the celebration of King's birthday. She narrates how she learned to let go of her son after she prayed to God for enlightenment.
