ABSTRACT
The article reports on the first canine stem cell symposium held by the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation in May 2006. Researchers from different institutes and universities spoke on current canine stem cell research, including Batten disease and neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis. It was a venue to share ideas for the future of stem cell research.
